Halliburton

Halliburton has annouced that they are going to be laying of people, but haven't said any details about how many or when to expect it. Schlumburger one of our major competors is laying of 5% of its workforce due mostly to falling oil prices and rig counts falling. Hopefully Brice and I won't get laid off.

Customized Entertainment Center???

So Brice and I bought a new entertainment center, It's dark espresso brown with lighter accents on the doors. It was delivered yesterday, and looks really nice. Brice was at work, and I started to see how the cable box, amp, ect would fit in the cabinet. The cabinet wasn't deep enough for the amp... so we had to take the heavy top off and cut a hole in the back. We also made a different hole for the wire to the TV to go to. Since we were already making modifications we drilled two small holes for speaker wires to go through. It turned out being more work than we had anticpated, but we are happy with it now. We never thought that an entertainment center wouldn't be deep enough for an amp. Next we'll be sure to measure.

Not ready to go back to work

Brice and I took off the entire week of Thanksgiving and went home to Amarillo. Neither one of us wanted to go back to work today. I only work 14 days in December and Brice works less than me.

Not much work left...

As of Friday Brice and I have 9 days away from work!!! We'll be heading to Amarillo for Thanksgiving. Hopefully when I first get there I can get some Chistmas shopping done, since there isn't anywhere to shop in Duncan.

Everything is getting hectic at work, with everyone trying to finish up projects before the end of the year. Looks like I'll definately be heading back to the field in January at least once. And possibly the middle of December.

New Hobby

I've decided as of today that my new hobby is going to be baking cool cake's like Natalie. http://lonestarcakes.com/ I haven't actually tried to make anything, but I need to get some cake pans an the cake decorating stuff. I'm sure since I'm not very artistic at all...and my hand writing is equivalent to a third graders this will probably be pretty interesting.

I went to Lawton to Hobby Lobby last week with one of my friend's from work, Johanna. We bought Christmas decorations. I also bought some ornaments....but I don't have a tree.
