Flowers

I'm acting like I know what I'm doing planting flowers out front this year. I planted some petunias, impatients, lantana, and few bulbs a few months ago that are starting to come up. I finally had a chance to put some mulch out today, it has been raining just about everyday here. Our yard...mostly weeds has been growing like crazy. I'm sure our neighbors are asking what we are doing having flowers and awful looking grass. I also bought an orchid today and I'm going to try not to kill the thing.

My petunia around the mailboxThe big flower bed by the front door...pitiful looking roses....pink impatients(I bought two flats that were the best looking ones they had and they turned out to all be pink) some lantana towards the back were there is no shade from the tree in the front yard. Hopefully they all start the spread out soon and look really good.
